Okay,as suggested by Above,this entry is not about leaving the latter alone.Where-else,I do want to congratulate Yahoo! on creating such an allure in the market right now.Competitive Heavy weights are all buzzing around to land on the Forbidden Fruit(Yahoo!),while the fruit itself keeps shuting them out.

 You have got to agree with me,when I say,Yahoo! seems like the Gorgeous & World Reknowned Lady everyone wants to date.RecentlyYahoo! slammed away Microsoft for providing too low a bid for is share prices saying the 44.6 billion dollar bid was Undervalued.Now we know the offer was just nice for the closing price of Yahoo!shares since yesterday.

You and Me know Yahoo! is perptually buying time for its Share prices to Up itself and also giving Microsoft plenty of time to sweeten its deal(in the name of the Shareholders’.)

Well,I say, Microsoft should back away fromYahoo!.I just do not believe in Microsoft’s alliance with Yahoo!.Both are technological Giants in their own arena and while combining Yahoo! into their family would actually mean the End of Darling Yahoo! we users have gotten to know over the years.Yahoo!may benefit Microsoft in securing revenues and conquering Online Ads. business it doesnt work the same way,the other way round.We all know by placing a Big Blue Microsoft label on every product,we are embracing higher costs,Over-valued products,Dried-Up creativity and Unimpressive Innovation.Thats what Yahoo!might become in the future Years.

Well,who know the “Lady”might just have enough cash to pull this one on her Own.

Thanks for bringing an End to the #3$@ writer’s strike.It had created an empty vacuum in my tv schedule,thus forcing me to replace it with crappy comedies and episodes re-run.It seems you have knocked a huge amount of ’sense’ into those goon-bags that how we viewers are going to suffer.

It may seem that even you are deeply affected,(hmmm…)I know all about your Heroes’ addiction.Who do you think shot Nathan Petrelli…?I say its the Hasian(if thats how you spell it.)

Thanks anyways …Now all i have got to do is hang in with Smallville till the major Tv leagues are back in Action.

 PS:When is the earliest date for Heroes’ Season 3 premier?And yes,Will Michael Scoffield finally get out from the all-crazed up Panamian Prison.

Living in Ironies….

Its really really ironic to see Singaporeans, believe in and live in Ironies.Damn,they just hate the truth.

Why the sudden weird topic?Man,it has always been bugging me ever I read a interview of a featured Singaporean Personality.And the last two questions are the make-and-break ones.

1)How would you live your life?   /  or  2)What would you change if You could live your life over again.?

And the answers..ta….da…..(drum roll) LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST

 Thats just load of rubbish hurled at the interview for being politically correct and appearing all Gentle-manly or womanly.

They always preach “living your life to the fullest ” and not to concern themselves with death or the Future.Huh?Irony present !! Living your life to the fullest encompasses both The living portion and the death(thats part of life).

Not giving a thought and/or preparing for Death short-hands everyone.That person ends up at the losing end when suddenly everything is taken away and He is gone with the wind.Now,and only then, he would wish he had prepared for it rather than concerning himself with the living portion.

 If we just make a conscious effort in preparing for the date-line(the end of our Journey),will we leave this world in a more prepared manner.

I am on Google!!!

I just had the same routine boring day and just for kicks i decided to google myself.Well,type my name and you will find me as one of the entries.And if you add my name with the word Fortress ,I will be the first result.

 Nice!Now how many of you can claim that mantle.Well,fame comes at many level and for me,it is measured by my position on Google. NO.1(if you type Rajiv Rai Fortress)

 Go ahead and Google me….Find me….BUT don’t call me for Bills are getting expansive.

My Solutions:

Before we start,Lets just think about problem:

-Too many cars …….WHY?

Affordability.Is the Answer.

Remove that word from the equation and Ownership will never come into the picture.Take away affordability from us,and you will essentially take away Our cars.

How do you take away affordability from us?(There is a Limit to how expansive cars can be.)

1)We should have Income Ceiling for car owners.Say an owner has to be earning 8k and above to get a car.Why?Come on,lets be practical,even wtith 8 k/mth,people arent going to have enough to pay a montly car loan.There are many other costs like HDB loan payment,Insurances,Bills..et cetra…So by imposing an income limit,we are actually saving you from unnecessary steps.WELL, consider it as a Form of Divine Intervention.If you don’t earn 8 k..welll….hmmm…lets not think about that for now.

2)Absurd Requirements:MAYBE, adding clauses that prevents anyone, still in debt or financing loans,from owning cars.Eg:Unpaid HDB owners aren’t allowed to own cars.Why?If you cant pay your House loans,why do you bother adding another burden?

3)Increase ERP prices to a really high amount.Like say $20 for every entry.You must say i am “Siao”(crazy) but i will say”,That’s Right”.See that’s the reaction we want to achieve.With such increased price, using the roads privately(Car owners) becomes some -kind of a luxury which people have to pay for(Alot!).Thus creating clear distinctions between Public and Private Transport.Just Like working out in a public Gym or Working out in a Private Gym in a 5-star hotel.If you can afford it go for,if you can’t stick to the public route.Its all about luxury.

That will filter out many Middle-class Car Users.Problem solved.That will leave all those filthy rich ones out in the road battling among themselves.Thats my ultimate solution.From now on,me and You will be free from accidents.No fear of Road-kill.In the comfort of a crowded bus,we will be sheltered from the Rich Materialistic world driving Out there.

 My Main Purpose for writing this:Is to Get you to join Me in the Already Crowded buses and Trains.Join the Dark Side.

Did you read today’s review section!No,Yes? A lengthy article on Our Minister’s, for Transport,solution to our traffic woes.

I am not usually a Critic,I consider myself as One with just better ideas(two diff. person).I do believe though his soluti0ns might be more probable than mine,however I feel mine Rocks.

Firstly,Why do I feel that his solutions are more of a hinderance?By improving quality and frequency of public transport,what we are ultimately doing is to introduce more baits into the river.And what happens then?The river becomes even crowded with more baits and fishes.

I do not believe that this measure will immediately or gradually attract more people to taking up the public route.Remotely,i feel it might just add more hateful sentiments in the already crowded roads.People require time to convert to the public route,especially for many car owners who aren’t willing to give it(cars) up overnight just because there is a better option.Many of them are going to wait for the next 5 to ten years till their cars are scrapped.And furthermore,our lazy butts have always  believed in comfort more than the Crowded trains or Buses.Singaporeans aren’t going to be easily taken over by the “Light “Side in a instance.What they require is a really Juicy carrot!By placing himself in a average car-user shoe,The minister might realise our reasons for using a car as compared to not-to.

1)Comfort. 2)No crowd in a car.  3)No squeeze.  4) We get to eat our breakfast as we drive.  5) Enjoy the aircon and arrive fresh,instead of the usual sweaty lots.                       6)The need to drop off our Kids to school,ensuring they are all set before We set off to work.(these are just the basic ones.Rest assured there are many other absurd reasons)

And just how important is the comfort to us?So important, that many of us resort to leaving our houses an hour before to beat the jams or to ensure we aren’t delayed by it.If comfort hadn’t been our priority,we would have shifted to public transport Eons ago.

And just maybe if The Transport Ministry’s solution would be based along that line.

Imagine:Buses that are hailed as the ultimate comfortable transport.No standing.Breakfast on board.etcc…

Smokers Should be Charged for Committing SUICIDE !

Yes you heard me right.This is just a result of my furstration for living with people smoking openly in the public.Despite the Ban that has covered walkway shelters,Bus-stops,Clubs and many other places,I see no difference in the cigaretters”.Out in the street results in a Singaporean inhaling the smoke of One’s cigarettes .

Well,either the ban should be made permanent and with a stricter re-enoforcement or it should be outlawed as whole.Wait….whats that i am hearing…Pleas and Boos ..(mostly from smokers)

These are their reasons

1)It’s my life and i should be given the right to choose how i live it.

2)I am not killing anyone on purpose.

3)I am no taking my life,I could die anyways just as easily if i was knocked by a bus or heart attack.

Read and Listen to all those reason; SO pathetic and desperate.Spoken like true criminals,(at least to me).Those reasoning seemed like how a criminal on trial would try to sought out his crime. 

Rebuttals:

-Yes you are taking away one’s life by introducing those filthy fumes and Just for your information,those fumes don’t dissapear away within seconds.They linger around till they are inhaled.Think about it,everytime a Singaporean inhales a mouthful of fumes everyday,He will end up having permanent damages to his Lungs,thus his Health.

So yes you are mudering him directly and indirectly.

2)Well,yes you should be given the choice but that doesnt mean you should be given the right to take it away.So if that’s the reason,you could start by explaining to me How suicide and Euthanasia are both illegal.Same basis except for the degree and period of damage.

3)Yea, you could die as easily as anyone.However those deaths are not caused by Us ourselves and without us playing a part.Tell me would you rather Kill Youself slowly overtime feeling effects of Death each and everyday or Would you rather Live life knowing you won’t be the cause of your Imminet death.

By comparing it to the levels of suicide,I do hope to strike the severity of damage smokers are causing to everyone around them.Change is in The Air!Time to rid the country of such walking killers.(Blunt and Straight)

Its Time!The World Should know about the Nephilims

Just want to blog and share my enthusiastic fictional/biblical mythology.Well Nephilims have been stated to be the Off-springs between Angels and Humans(Daughters of Men).

Genesis 6:4 ” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. ..”

Nephilims ,according to legends, were mighty in size compared to humans and were living terrors.Under the influence of their evil Fathers(fallen angels),they sought to spread terror and destruction.

During the Great Flood,God sought to wipe off the bibilical creatures and none were said to survive.(Genesis 6:5) so He sent the flood)

Interestingly,there have been many textual references to these mythical creatures developing them into stories of fiction and creating great curiousity.Many speculations include:

1)Not all nephilims are Evil and they are those few who did survive the flood and are living among us.

2)Nephilims no longer potray their GiantSized forms and have blended in with us Humans.

3)Nephilims,due to their angelic nature,posses Great powers of their Fathers and Also have Free Will in them(from their human mothers).

Many of the above speculations are widely found in Blogs and Books.One book which i would greatly recommend will be The Fallen(3 part series)-by Thomas E Sniegoski.

That book potrayed nephilims as mistaken hybrids who are hunted by God’s Servants for the Sins of their Father.It basically follows a teenager,Aaron Corbett,who comes into his Angelic Nature when he turns 18.And with his Great gifts he becomes a hunted soul, running away from real angelic beings.Further as you read,Aaron comes to realise the various other nephilims that exist and he also goes in search for his Father’s identity.

This popular book has been converted in to a FOX family tele-movie,which received rave reviews.

Suharto Dies!

Well,I do not know much about dignity but I will say he lead a dignified Life and died with Dignity.Before his death,You may have seen all the squabble about him ruling with an Iron fist and being the cause of Indonesia’s recession.And even more suprising, the discussion on the type of burial to be given to him when he “kick’s the bucket”.

Imagine my surprise last week,when I flipped through the papers and saw the article Suharto most probably not to be Given state funeral. Whoa,He’s dead?”I thought.How could i have missed that story but then after reading further i realised he was still hanging on the balance in the hospital.That’s Public Sympathy for you.

Next flurry of surprise was when Indonesia flocked to embassies and outside his Hospital to demand for justice and for him to pay for his crimes.”Huh!”.

First question i had to ask was:How did you people reach the judgement that he was guilty for Indonesia’s economic downfall?Where you around there during that time”

The suprising thing is that the protestors were nothing but infants or say teens during Suharto’s resignation year,so why the rush in asking for judgement. I did not see any elderly folks there demanding the same.

The fact was that Indonesians living during Indonesia’s turbulent times would agree that Suharto was in no way responsible for Indonesia’s debt situation and the Collapse of the rupiah,mostly that were brought about by banks.Yes he may have widely practiced favouritism by allowing his children grants and levy to built up their business empires and among many other mistakes but nothing severe enough to be responsible for the 1997 indonesia crisis.

If i Ever got an Interview with the BIG Giants of the U.S.A?

See,Lately in the news,there is just too much attention on the Economic downturns in the States and with a possible looming Recession.However the thing Is,I could not be bothered to follow that.WHY?Simple too many economic jargon that would just scramble up my neurons.

Now, if I ever got an interivew with those Big US Giants,What would I ask them?

Me:So,What Can you tell me about this economic Slowdown?Why is it occuring?

Giants:Well,KiD.Its contains just too much of economic Jargon,so let me just simplify it for you….

Me:Well,yea.Thats the reason i am dreaming of speaking to you.For simplicity sake.

Giants:Okay…SO it is mainly due to our mired Housing market downturns combined with many other factors inlcuding Increased unemployment,Rising world prices of crude Oil(It went up US$100 as of Jan 11) and also because of our slowdown in our US goods made in Poorer countries.

Giants:We are very much a Consumer Driven market,so when some people stop spending ,We are affected.Thats the basics of all this.

Me:Hmm,So why not just increase your publicity?

Giants:Eh kiddoo..HAHA..its not that easy.I mean with a weakening US dollar,sure spendings will rise but the economy is just not linked to our consumers.We got to boost up our Housing markets,Clear up the Debts some banks are chalking up and also to somehow increase our imports so that our economy can start to drive again

Me:But it isn’t that Bad rite?I mean i do not really have to care yet?Because i am really worried more on the Writer’s Strike in the States then the Economic Downturn.Well for me TV is more important.

Giants:Well,I do love Heroes but the effect of this downturn is going to be really worse than Peter Petrelli going BOOM!

Giants:You see this downturn could further develop into a real recession.Well,if that happens we are in deep s#@$.  Unemployment is going to rise till 7.5% or even more.Oil prices may even shoot up to $150,if it has not done so.Our stocks markets are just going to come crashing down.People are going to lose confidence in our stocks and ability to make money.Stocks prices are just going to tumble down.With that the US dollar will just weaken even more(Good news for some though)

Me:Hah…still doesnt sound so bad.Well,do you have any news on Heroes.Are they making a season 3?What about Prison break,is Micheal Scoffield going to finally show off his tattoos again?

Giants:No…wait.I am not finished.You see those are just some minor effects.We are going to experience drop in housing values.So due to bad calls,Developers are going to call in more debts due to bad investments and less profits.Our credit companies are going to tighten really tight and react violently against this backlash.Lay-offs,Weak US dollar,Worst Consumer spendings ever and plus No more MR Bush as president…We are all D@#@(DEAD).

Giant:And no ,Micheal isn’t going to show his tattoos.That’s why he is wearing the long overall t shirt in a Hot panamian Jail cell.DUMB move!

Me:Well,i do understand a bit more.Thanks anyways,saved me time from all those big jargons.By the way do you have any influence in the WGA.?

Giants:Do not tell anyone.But its actually ME orchastrating the whole WGA strike.It was  a way to remove attention from the US RECESION that might just occur

Me:Wow,good move.Now i couldn’t care less about it.See ya!

Okay that was all Folks.My dream interview.It was all just a fiction piece so it doesn’t really contain much truth but maybe a tv spoiler.
